Beyond Convention

There was the sound of wedding bells, the tossing of rose petals, and the traditional run for the limo while friends and family cheered us on. That was the type of wedding ceremony we had. The wedding ceremony was so beautiful and everything turned out just like I wanted it, thanks to all the super accessories I was able to get. With all the exceptional accessories and supplies at my disposal there was no way this wedding and reception wouldn’t be a success.

Starting with the invitations and ending with the perfect little thank you gifts, they had it all. The silver print was a lovely touch to our invitations. There was a gorgeous flower girl basket and ring pillow among all the accessories that I decided to buy for our ceremony. It was actually more than the basket and pillow, it also had my wedding garter, guest book and pen set, in a gorgeous rich garnet. All five pieces of wedding accessories at a very reasonable price.

There were a lot of other items I ordered too, like my lovely aisle runner for the church ceremony. The process of selecting the wedding bell was really a great one. All the little bells were ringing at the end of the ceremony, as we made our way to the limo. It was really a unique idea.

The accessories for our wedding ceremony wasn’t all I ordered, I also got our supplies for our reception there too. They really had quite a collection of gorgeous wedding reception accessories to choose from. I wanted to make our reception tables sparkle, so I ordered as much crystal as I could get away with, starting with crystal champagne flutes. There were twisted stemmed flutes which I ordered for our guests and a special toasting flute set I ordered especially for the bride and groom for our table. The bell weddings I picked out not only helped to add the sparkle I wanted for my tables, but served as a wedding favor for each of our guests.

I could have bought every gorgeous item they had on their list, but I think I would have been overdoing it just a little. Glass coasters was our choice of wedding favor gifts for our guests. They were specially designed with a calla lilie on each one. I found the perfect little silver favor boxes with thank you tags to package the wedding favors in. The silver favor boxes, along with all the other accessories on the tables, really added to the décor. I purchased flowers and ordered some beautiful candles to make into our centerpieces for the reception tables.

At the end of the reception hall was our wedding cake on a special little table. Chocolate and cherries three tiers high with a very lovely cake topper resting on top. I really fell in love with the cake topper I bought, with it’s attractive little ribbon made into a bow at the bottom of the heart with calla lilies added. The reception was fantastic, as was the wedding ceremony. We had so many photos of the wedding ceremony and reception that I went back online and ordered a second wedding photo album. There were several pictures of us cutting the wedding cake and feeding that first piece to each other. I have pictures of our friends and family, the ring boy and flower girl on the dance floor together and our first dance as husband and wife.

Our friends and family told me they had a fantastic time at our reception and that they think I did a spectacular job in planning the wedding décor. I plan on having another wedding ceremony and reception for our anniversary one year and I was so glad to hear that my wonderful husband thinks that’s a fantastic idea.

I started shopping for my themed accessories and supplies as soon as we were sure we were having a beach wedding. The first thing to get was the invitations for our beach themed wedding. One thing I discovered was to be sure you always buy extra invitations, just in case you make a mistake and have yourself a do over, like I did. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. There were so many options for beach wedding dresses and gowns, that it was a tough decision to make. I was unsure about the two full length wedding gowns I found, I didn’t want to be uncomfortable at my beach wedding. I picked out a gorgeous spaghetti strapped dress made of satin and lace with beautiful little beads scattered around it, in a knee length.

My bridesmaids looked so lovely in their haltered beach dresses of cool linen with a crocheted bodice. All the groomsmen wore linen white shirts and sand colored pants and my husband, to be looked so handsome in his blue linen shirt and white pants. Our flower girl wore an adorable little sundress and the ringboy stayed nice and cool in his little khaki shorts and white cotton shirt. Everyone in the wedding party looked fantastic and the bouquets were absolutely the most beautiful arrangements I could have found.

With all the pictures I wanted taken of our wedding ceremony and reception, maybe I should have bought two wedding albums. I expect photos of every person here and everything at our wedding including our reception and the beautiful beach décor. I was sure to let the photographer know I wanted plenty of photos of our vow exchange under our satin canopy and lovely flowered arch. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. Some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their swim wear under their wedding clothes, and some went home to change. The guests were informed on the invitations to wear casual clothing.

Everyone thought our reception tables were so beautiful with all the beach themed wedding accessories I had found for them. The place I shopped not only had the beach wedding album I wanted, but so many more accessories to go with it. The place card holders I chose were these miniature beach chairs that can later be used as photo frames. The guests seemed to like them, and I thought they were just adorable. The beach wedding favors I chose for our guests made the perfect little thank you gifts. I chose adorable tea lights that looked just like sand castles to remind them of our beach party. I found quite a bit of accessories and decorations for our beach themed reception tables and the bride and groom table as well. Some of the guests were commenting on the gorgeous décor of our reception tables. To help add to the atmosphere, I also bought some of their beautiful gel candles and placed them on all the tables, along with a few tiki torches here and there. With all the accessories and supplies for the wedding and beach party reception, it made planning so much easier. Everything was like a dream come true, with the beautiful ocean waves and the warm summer sands as our wedding chapel and reception location.

Now I can look through our special beach leather wedding album and enjoy that day once again.

A wintertime theme was my idea of the perfect wedding theme, so we got married in January. There are so many beautiful accessories and reception supplies to make the perfect wintery wedding dream come true. We went with a cool blue and silver look to our ceremony. Our altar had replica snowflakes next to the unity candle and other candles, which all had a wintry look to them. It was a magical wedding.

The people who attended our reception liked the presents and place card holders they brought home with them, and the banquet hall looked just gorgeous. We got our flower girl a necklace and we we let her keep the small crown she wore in the ceremony, and she was pleased with both of them. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. I got my maid of honor a bracelet made of crystal, and all of my bridesmaids received tank tops with their names written on them in small crystals. The men’s presents were handled by my groom. For his groomsmen, he has ordered digital portable clocks and for his best man, a nice novelty pen desk set and best man mug. I think everyone was really happy with the thank you favors they received and I think they all had a great time at the reception.
Everything at our wedding and reception was fantastic and I owe it all to the wonderful selection of accessories and supplies I found online. The prices that we found on the Internet were so good that we saved a significant amount of money by looking there. I not only found things for our wedding, but they also had items I could use on our honeymoon. A theme wedding is my favorite. They can really be a blast. Last weekend I went to a fantastic wedding and reception. It was a country western themed ceremony.
The ceremony took place in a small country church. It was really quite lovely with lots of flowers and candles around the altar, and satin bows and ribbons connected at the end of the pews. The bridesmaids and flower girl wore gorgeous baby blue dresses with flowered hair pieces. The little ring boy was adorable in his little tux, and the groomsmen were very handsome in theirs, with the white boutonnieres in the lapels. But nothing could compare to the elegance of the bride and groom. They were a picure perfect couple. When the ceremony ended the happy couple left for the reception in a horse drawn buggy.
Since they chose a ranch to buy as their first home, they thought that would be the perfect place to hold the reception. It was a lovely home with a couple of acres and a barn for their horses they planned on having. I would have loved to have started my married life out in a place like this.
You could tell she put a lot of effort into planning this reception. Everything was fantastic. Each checkered tablecloth had centerpieces of wild flowers in little metal buckets. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the theme wedding favors. There were strings of white christmas lights all around the picnic tables, with a few old fashioned lanterns here and there. With the décor consisting of hay bales and corn stalks on the barn doors, this really gave the perfect appearance of a country reception. There were so much set up for adults and kids to enjoy. Some of the kids were bobbing for apples while others were into a wild game of horse shoes, and still others were trying their hand at line dancing. We were all having a fantastic time.
They had a gorgeous cake with a funny country western cake topper that gave everyone a good laugh. It was the perfect themed cake topper. They even had country themed champagne flutes for the bridal toast. And on each and every table she had little cowboy hats that were used as place card holders. Everyone thought they were so cute.
There were so many delicious dishes served at the reception. They grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, mostly for the kids, and steaks, ribs, and chicken for the adults, with choice of salads and vegetables. There was more than enough to eat. It was a great reception, plenty to eat, great tunes to dance to and games to keep the kids happy for hours. The country western theme was a blast.
Another fun reception is a beach party reception. The beauty of a beach wedding is just amazing. It’s so romantic with the sunset above the ocean. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. On my wedding day, I want to have a wedding ceremony just like this one.
The bridesmaids looke so nice in their linen summer dresses and the groomsmen were quite handsome in their drawstring pants and linen shirts. The bride wore a beautiful crepe dress that seemed to match the blue of the ocean, and the groom looked so handsome in his white linen beach attire. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect ceremony than this wonderful dream wedding.
Their reception was more than elegant too. All the tables were decorated with the beach theme in mind. The centerpieces were little trays filled with sand and two large pillar candles with seashells, starfish and orchids all around them. Her crystal champagne glasses had beach themed stems and her place card holders were little seashells.
She had everything in a beautiful beach décor, from her wedding cake topper to the wonderful theme wedding cakes she had put together. This was one of the most memorable weddings I’ve ever attended.

I didn’t have as many problems planning an outside wedding as I thought I would. It wasn’t as expensive as an indoor wedding would have been. Having the natural beauty of the outdoors saved us a lot of money on decorations. The first thing on my agenda was to find that perfect place to hold our summer wedding and reception party. Instead of having our wedding ceremony and reception on the beach or in a garden, I chose to have it in the park. I found there were several great locations that would work out perfectly for an outdoor wedding.

Since I never planned a wedding like this before, I needed all the help I could get. I found out you need to have a plan B, in case inclement weather unexpectly arises. It’s a good idea to have a tent ready to continue your ceremony if it becomes necessary.

Plan “A” was setting up a gorgeous trellis for our ceremony to be performed under and canopies for the reception. I mainly concentrated on the decorations for our wedding table and the reception tables. About all I needed were a extra flowers and my table settings, thanks to the already present beauty of the park. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and didn’t look artificial at all. Planning this wedding wasn’t all that hard, but there was a little more than I expected. Like, making sure there were citronella candles all around, rest rooms close by and making sure our cake was kept cool until ready to be cut.

I found quite a few terrific accessories that I could use for the reception. Each of our guest had a park bench place card holder and the centerpieces were flowers arranged around a glass globe with citronella votive candles inside. For each of our guests there were beautiful chrome bottle openers in lovely designed favor boxes, as a summer favor. For our wedding table, of course, was our fabulous wedding cake with a very unique wedding cake topper.

I found it while browsing online for my other wedding accessories, and fell in love with it. They do customizing for the bride and groom. All I had to do was send in a head shot picture of me and my fiance and they custom made a bride and groom cake topper with our faces. What a wonderful momento of our wedding day. Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. All the wonderful accessories I ordered for our reception and wedding ceremony came from the same place, including our champagne flutes and silver cake set. You wouldn’t believe all the nice accessories you can buy online.

Well, the wedding was beautiful and the reception was just as perfect. The weather cooperated and we never had to go to plan “B” with the tents. Everyone commented on what a lovely ceremony and super reception we had. I couldn’t have picked a better place than the park for our wedding ceremony and reception party. I’d love to do this again and have a wedding renewal in the park, maybe for an anniversary, someday.

I really enjoyed the convenience of shopping online and having all my supplies delivered to my door, saved me the trouble of running all over town. As far as reception supplies, they had everything. Along with the glassware I added beautiful candles to make each table setting as elegant as possible. Some for a beach wedding, winter wedding, garden wedding and more, with beautiful and decorative favor boxes to choose from too. If I were having a Vegas theme reception I could have gotten the cute little novelty favors they have for it, like keychains, photo books and more.

As wedding favors I chose crystal paperweights for all of our guests. Athough the favors were an added touch of elegance all on their own, I packaged them in exquisite little favor boxes. My favorite item I purchased was our cake topper. The cake topper was the most exquisite part of our wedding cake. The beautiful satin bow and butterfly just made our cake even more beautiful.

Our wedding décor and wedding favors seemed to make quite an impression. Some of the guests came up and thanked me for their gifts and told me how beautiful they were. What I really liked about this place I shopped was the fact they have more than just cake toppers and a ring bearer pillow. They have everything you need for birthdays, showers and bachelorette parties too. My sister just told me the other day that she got all the favors and supplies she needed for my bridal shower at the same place I bought my wedding supplies. She said mom had told her about it too.

My sister is going to have a baby in a few months and I’m throwing her a baby shower, guess where I’m getting all of my shower supplies? I’m pretty sure on the items I’ve checked out so far, and plan to order them some time next week. By that time I’ll know if she is having a boy or a girl. Even though there are a lot of neutral colors I could use, I’d rather try to have the décor and supplies in a boy or girl theme.

I should listen to my mom more often and maybe she has other ways to find bargains like these in a lot less time than I normally take. Filling out our thank you cards and working out all the reception arrangements was another thing I’m grateful for my mom doing for me. I couldn’t have done it without you, mom. I promise I’ll keep this place in mind when it’s time for our anniversary parties. There are great little suggestions for anniversaries, even decorations, cake toppers and little thank you gifts. I found suggestions that would be perfect for our mom and dayd’s 30th wedding anniversary party. I think I’ll get a hold of my sister so we can check out the possibilities together. It won’t be long before they are celebrating their anniversary, we might as well get an early start on planning.
