I found out we were going to attend a Halloween party at my husbands’ bosses’ house. It was suppose to be some type of costume ball. They want us all in renaissance festival costumes. I was a little concerned because we hadn’t even bought the kids costumes for trick or treat yet. I didn’t want our costumes to leave us broke. I didn’t know if we had the money to buy costumes for all of us this year. But my husband assured me we could manage both. We agreed to go as cheap as we could on our costumes for the party. We looked up Halloween costume stores on the internet.
There were quite a few nice looking renaissance costumes for us to choose from. My husband found quite a few costumes to his liking. I found a few I really liked too. It was very cheap when you consider how exquisite it was. But there were several other costumes I liked too. My husband was having the same problem. He ran across a lot of costumes he would like to have. The king costume was one of his favorites. He really liked that kingly men’s renaissance costume. After the king costume he saw a knight of the round talbe costume and wanted that too. He finally saw the costume he felt was meant for him. He saids its what he would have been if he lived back in those days. I say it brings out his true fantasy. He went with a pirate costume for the party. That costume will really good fantastic on him. After looking at all the renaissance costume women selection , I prefer the maid marian. Although there were quite a few costumes I liked, I liked the maiden costume the most. Now that we had our adult renaissance costume, we could find something for the kids.
Our kids didn’t know exactly what kind of costumes they wanted this year. That’s why we decided to check the online stores for their costumes too. The kids noticed the site of renaissance costume selections and wanted to take a look at them. I’m in awe that they were even thinking of these kinds of costumes. They were actually interested in some of the costumes they had available. Now we were checking for the right costume for our daughter. She found a lot of costume ideas she likes too. Even though, her final decision was a princess costume. Our son had no problem making his choice. He knew just what costume to choose. His choice of a medieval renaissance costume was that of a royal knight. He found his costume in no time. So, now everyone was taken care of for their Halloween night. At least that’s what I thought. They’ve all decided that they want a few more things to go with their costumes. My husband and son needed swords and special boots for their costumes. I also ordered shoes and a special little purse to match our daughters outfit. I had a couple of renaissance dress accessories I would need too. I chose a headpiece, veil and my costume shoes for maid marian. Now we were all set. Everyone’s costumes and accessories were on order. So all there was to do now was wait for them to be delivered.
The delivery was a lot sooner than we expected. We all had to try our costumes on, naturally. Everyone was pleased with the choices they had made. The costume my husband ordered from the mens renaissance costumes was really exceptional. My maid marian costume was really beautiful. The costumes for the kids were so nice and they looked so good on them. I predict that this Halloween is one we will remember for a long time. Even with the bosses’ party that we have to go to.
