A wintertime theme was my idea of the perfect wedding theme, so we got married in January. There are so many beautiful accessories and reception supplies to make the perfect wintery wedding dream come true. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. I got my maid of honor a bracelet made of crystal, and all of my bridesmaids received tank tops with their names written on them in small crystals. My new husband decided to handle buying the groomsmen’s gifts. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. I could tell that all of our friends and family were having a fantastic time at the reception and they all seemed to like the little favors and gifts we bought for them.
The array of wedding materials I found on the net made our ceremony and reception a dream come true,for both of us. By finding deals on the web, we were able to come in under our budget. I found supplies for both the wedding and the honeymoon online. We got a ‘Do Not Disturb’ pillow to hang on our doorknob, along with hats and shirts for newlyweds. November 30th, 2009Online shopping for our reception accessories, flower baskets, and ring bearer pillows was my mom’s idea. I really enjoyed the convenience of shopping online and having all my supplies delivered to my door, saved me the trouble of running all over town. She was right, I even found the perfect wedding invitations to send out, and some other accessories, all at reasonable prices. Besides the invitations, I got a lot of accessories for the ceremony, at a much lower cost than I expected. I found a lot of my accessories for my bridesmaids, flower girl at a great price and there were unique ring bearer pillow wedding ideas to work with too. I couldn’t believe all the adorable ideas for ring pillows.
I couldn’t believe the lovely centerpieces and champagne flutes there were for the guests, with special bride and groom flutes too. There were elegant choices of candles and glassware to enhance my tables. There was such an assortment of themed wedding and destination wedding ideas, and a great selection of wedding favors too. There everything, including favor boxes for beach, winter, garden and other themed weddings. There are beautiful accessories for beach, winter, garden and other themed ceremonies and receptions. I really liked the novelty favors they have for a Las Vegas themed party, like the little photo albums and keychains.
I chose the gorgeous crystal paperweights as the thank you gifts for our friends and families. They were really lovely, so lovely I hated to package them, but the favor boxes were very decorative and added that extra special something to our tables. Out of everything I bought, I loved my cake topper the most. The cake topper was the most exquisite part of our wedding cake. The beautiful satin bow and butterfly just made our cake even more beautiful.
I got so many compliments on my décor and wedding favor gifts. I got so many thank you’s from our guests for their gifts. What I really liked about this place I shopped was the fact they have more than just cake toppers and a wedding ring bearer pillow. There are ideas and selections for all parties, including showers, birthday and girls night out parties. I didn’t know it at the time, but I found out that’s where my sister got all of her party supplies and party favors for my bridal shower she threw for me. She said mom had told her about it too.

I’m pretty sure on the items I’ve checked out so far, and plan to order them some time next week. That’s when we get to find out if I’ll have a little niece or a little nephew. Then I can order the favors in pink or blue, even though there are other neutral colors I could choose.
I want to thank my mom for pointing me towards this easy way to shop, it saved me a lot of time and money. I also want to thank her for helping with the reception arrangements and filling out all those thank you cards. You’re really a life saver mom. This is one way of shopping that will come in handy for our anniversary someday. There are great little suggestions for anniversaries, even decorations, cake toppers and little thank you gifts. There were some very excellent selections for mom and dad’s 30th anniversary. My sister and I should get together and discuss it. No use waiting until the last minute, it’s not that much longer before they reach their 30th year as man and wife.
Finding Great Albums For Wedding for a Wedding!
November 30th, 2009I started shopping for my themed accessories and supplies as soon as we were sure we were having a beach wedding. The first thing to get was the invitations for our beach themed wedding. One thing I discovered was to be sure you always buy extra invitations, just in case you make a mistake and have yourself a do over, like I did. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. There were so many options for beach wedding dresses and gowns, that it was a tough decision to make. I was unsure about the two full length wedding gowns I found, I didn’t want to be uncomfortable at my beach wedding. I picked out a gorgeous spaghetti strapped dress made of satin and lace with beautiful little beads scattered around it, in a knee length.
My bridesmaids looked so lovely in their haltered beach dresses of cool linen with a crocheted bodice. All the groomsmen wore linen white shirts and sand colored pants and my husband, to be looked so handsome in his blue linen shirt and white pants. Our flower girl wore an adorable little sundress and the ringboy stayed nice and cool in his little khaki shorts and white cotton shirt. Everyone in the wedding party looked fantastic and the bouquets were absolutely the most beautiful arrangements I could have found.
With all the pictures I wanted taken of our wedding ceremony and reception, maybe I should have bought two wedding albums. I expect photos of every person here and everything at our wedding including our reception and the beautiful beach décor. I was sure to let the photographer know I wanted plenty of photos of our vow exchange under our satin canopy and lovely flowered arch. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. Some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their swim wear under their wedding clothes, and some went home to change. The guests were informed on the invitations to wear casual clothing.
Everyone thought our reception tables were so beautiful with all the beach themed wedding accessories I had found for them. The place I shopped not only had the beach wedding album I wanted, but so many more accessories to go with it. The place card holders I chose were these miniature beach chairs that can later be used as photo frames. The guests seemed to like them, and I thought they were just adorable. Some of the guests were commenting on the gorgeous décor of our reception tables. To help add to the atmosphere, I also bought some of their beautiful gel candles and placed them on all the tables, along with a few tiki torches here and there. With all the accessories and supplies for the wedding and beach party reception, it made planning so much easier. Everything was like a dream come true, with the beautiful ocean waves and the warm summer sands as our wedding chapel and reception location.

Everything at our wedding and reception was fantastic and I owe it all to the wonderful selection of accessories and supplies I found online. The prices that we found on the Internet were so good that we saved a significant amount of money by looking there. I not only found things for our wedding, but they also had items I could use on our honeymoon. Wedding Themes!
November 27th, 2009A theme wedding is my favorite. They can really be a blast. Last weekend I went to a fantastic wedding and reception. It was a country western themed ceremony.
The ceremony took place in a small country church. It was really quite lovely with lots of flowers and candles around the altar, and satin bows and ribbons connected at the end of the pews. The bridesmaids and flower girl wore gorgeous baby blue dresses with flowered hair pieces. The little ring boy was adorable in his little tux, and the groomsmen were very handsome in theirs, with the white boutonnieres in the lapels. But nothing could compare to the elegance of the bride and groom. They were a picure perfect couple. When the ceremony ended the happy couple left for the reception in a horse drawn buggy.
Since they chose a ranch to buy as their first home, they thought that would be the perfect place to hold the reception. It was a lovely home with a couple of acres and a barn for their horses they planned on having. I would have loved to have started my married life out in a place like this.
You could tell she put a lot of effort into planning this reception. Everything was fantastic. Each checkered tablecloth had centerpieces of wild flowers in little metal buckets. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the theme wedding favors. There were strings of white christmas lights all around the picnic tables, with a few old fashioned lanterns here and there. With the décor consisting of hay bales and corn stalks on the barn doors, this really gave the perfect appearance of a country reception. There were so much set up for adults and kids to enjoy. Some of the kids were bobbing for apples while others were into a wild game of horse shoes, and still others were trying their hand at line dancing. We were all having a fantastic time.
They had a gorgeous cake with a funny country western cake topper that gave everyone a good laugh. It was the perfect themed cake topper. They even had country themed champagne flutes for the bridal toast. And on each and every table she had little cowboy hats that were used as place card holders. Everyone thought they were so cute.
There were so many delicious dishes served at the reception. They grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, mostly for the kids, and steaks, ribs, and chicken for the adults, with choice of salads and vegetables. There was more than enough to eat. It was a great reception, plenty to eat, great tunes to dance to and games to keep the kids happy for hours. The country western theme was a blast.
Another fun reception is a beach party reception. The beauty of a beach wedding is just amazing. It’s so romantic with the sunset above the ocean. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. On my wedding day, I want to have a wedding ceremony just like this one.
The bridesmaids looke so nice in their linen summer dresses and the groomsmen were quite handsome in their drawstring pants and linen shirts. The bride wore a beautiful crepe dress that seemed to match the blue of the ocean, and the groom looked so handsome in his white linen beach attire. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect ceremony than this wonderful dream wedding.
Their reception was more than elegant too. All the tables were decorated with the beach theme in mind. The centerpieces were little trays filled with sand and two large pillar candles with seashells, starfish and orchids all around them. Her crystal champagne glasses had beach themed stems and her place card holders were little seashells.
She had everything in a beautiful beach décor, from her wedding cake topper to the wonderful theme wedding cakes she had put together. This was one of the most memorable weddings I’ve ever attended.
Cheap sweet sixteen favors for my daughter!
November 26th, 2009My daughter is turning sixteen and I was looking for some unique ideas for her party. My friend found quite a few party accessories and supplies online for her daughters celebration. So I decided to give it a try. I was really surprised at what super favors and table decorations they had. I found a lot of nice stuff I can use for her party. I was able to make cookies in the shape of the number 16 as one of the snacks for her party with the cookie cutters I ordered.
Before making any plans, I got her opinion on what she wanted for her party, and it was a party at the roller rink with all the girls sleeping over. I immediately got on the phone and reserved tables at the local roller rink. Next, came the invitations for all of her closest girl friends. It wasn’t nearly as expensive as I thought it would be. Refreshments, pizza and hot dogs were also part of the package, and didn’t cost very much at all. At home I had everything set up for the party to continue. I put out the cookies I had made, along with a few other snacks, and set up birthday decorations.
When I was searching the web for birthday ideas, I ordered a few other things besides the cookie cutters. Since this birthday party wasn’t costing me what I thought it would, I decided to order a few sweet sixteen favors for the girls. I found pink photo albums for the girls and gave each of them a disposable camera for party pictures. Everyone got a camera before we went to the roller rink party, but no one got an album until later that evening. Even though they took a lot of photos at the roller rink, they all saved some picture taking for the sleepover.
I also bought each of them little cosmetic bags with their initials on the front. Along with that I also bought compact mirrors and manicure sets that matched their bags. Each of the girls also received a very decorative favor box filled with candies. As soon as we got home, we celebrated with a sweet sixteen idea with cake and ice cream and she opened all of her presents. There were plenty of snacks and drinks, girlie teen movies for them to watch, so they were good to go for the evening. They danced for a while, then they gave each other manicures with their new sets, and of course, they did the make up thing. You could tell they were all having a fantastic time.
After they tired themselves out, they decided to put on a movie and grab the popcorn. I tried to stay out of their way as much as possible and just let them have a good time, but they asked me if I wanted to watch a movie with them. It made me feel good that they wanted to include me. After the second movie, one by one, they started falling asleep. Now it was down to just me and my daughter and she didn’t make it very long. With her eyes almost closed, she told me how much she loved her birthday party and thanked me.
The next morning the girls were up before I was and had already had their breakfast and cleaned up from last nights festivities. I was very impressed with their thoughtfulness in helping me out. They shared a couple of more hours together and then some of the girls had left for home. As they were leaving, the girls thanked me for the wonderful time they had and all of the sweet sixteen party favors I bought for them. It’s really neat being considered a cool mom.
